Body of missing Wirral man, 40, found in woodland
POLICE searching for Wirral man Robert Bigland have sadly confirmed his body has been found today.
The discovery was made in woodland close to Pasture Road in Moreton at 12.55pm.
The body has been formally identified as 40-year-old Mr Bigland, who went missing from his home in Moreton yesterday.
His death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.
A file is in the process of being prepared for the coroner.
