An outsourced customer contact provider based in Birkenhead is marking its 15th anniversary by celebrating its £40 million turnover.

Launched in 2006, The Contact Company, started with 15 people around a small table, now the company spans two operational sites.

Back in 2015, The Contact Company CEO, Asif Hamid MBE, pledged to double company turnover from £20 million to £40 million within five years, continuing to generate jobs and support the local economy.

Hamid said: "The past 12 months have been incredibly challenging for all in the business community.

“But as one big team we have really risen to the challenge to continue providing a fantastic service and to attract more clients to the area, investing in in-house safety and social distancing processes.

“As well as working from home infrastructure, to bring blue chip names to the Liverpool City Region.”

The Contact Company currently has over 25 clients, operating in several industry sectors, from financial services through to telecoms and retail, and currently employs more than 2000 people.

Over the past five years the company has secured additional data security and compliance accreditations as well as investing in its home working capability throughout the pandemic.
