A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after police stopped a vehicle.
Officers stop checked a vehicle in Heswall on Saturday night, May 15.
Following a search of the vehicle the driver, a man, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug and of drug driving.

In a statement after the arrest on Facebook, Wirral Police said: "Driving while under the influence of drink or drugs can have catastrophic consequences.
"We will continue to police our roads and intercept offenders."
