A house in Bromborough that boasts part-ownership of a lake and hadn't been on the market for 25 years has been snapped up at auction.
Berwyn Lodge was featured on the Globe website at the start of the month, attracting interest from readers with it's unique waterside setting and beautiful grounds.
But if you had designs on making it your dream family home, we're afraid that someone has already sealed the deal.
After only 17 days on the market, auctioneers WRB sold the property for £581,000 - £53,000 over the guide price.
The property was bought buy a local buyer for his family and will be the first new owner of Berwyn lodge in a quarter of a century.
This house may have been out of the reach of most of us, but there are bargains to be had at all levels with property auctions proving to be extremely popular at this moment in time.
