Heavy traffic delays around Birkenhead Tunnel
If you are heading over to Liverpool this afternoon you may want to think twice about driving.
There are heavy traffic delays on A5036 The Strand Southbound around A5046 Chapel Street, Birkenhead Tunnel.
People have taken to social media about the delays.
One woman wrote on Facebook: “Oh my good god!
“It took so long to get into Liverpool this morning.
“If you’re going over get the train people!”
There are lane restrictions in place around the roadworks area which are causing the long delays.
