A MAN has died after falling from a bridge above the M53 near Woodchurch.
At around 9.10am today, emergency services were called after reports a man had fallen from a bridge at junction three.
Merseyside Poiice confirmed that the man sadly died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
No details have been released on the man's identity.
Junctions three and four of the M53 were closed while emergency services carried out their work and reopened to motorists at around midday.
