CAN you give a forever home to this lovable little fellow?

When it comes to character, you don't get much bigger than Hudson!

The four-year-old American Bulldog is big and strong in stature and has a personality to match, so he is looking for a home with adults who can help him learn how to control his boisterous strength, especially when it comes to lead walking.

Hudson stands out amongst the canine crowd and the team at Dogs Trust Merseyside say he is lots of fun and very playful, as well as having a soft side – he loves a fuss to be made of him and likes to be groomed.

Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Hudson may be four but he behaves like a big puppy!

"He is very excitable which is adorable but his new owners will need to carry on with his training so he can learn how to loose lead walk and how to behave around other dogs as they can find him overwhelming.

"He loves a tasty treat which will help with his training and he learns new things quickly which is really rewarding to see."

Hudson is very strong and until he has mastered the art of loose lead walking two adults will need to take him out together.

He is looking for an adult only home with no other pets.
