A man is critical in hospital following a road traffic collision in Liscard this afternoon.
At around 12.30pm, police and emergency services were called to Liscard Road to reports of a collision involving a Peugeot car and a male pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital by air ambulance, which had landed in nearby Central Park.

Enquiries continue and a road closure is in place on Liscard Road, between Parkfield Road and Ashburton Road.
Please avoid the area where possible.
