Specsavers teams in Heswall have joined forces with other stores across the region to donate 200 chocolate easter eggs to charitable causes.
The teams at Specsavers Ellesmere Port, Cheshire Oaks, Runcorn, and Heswall all clubbed together to donate to The Port Grocery and Halton Helping Kids this Easter.
The donations were made through personal staff contributions and from store partners.
Rita Lewis, director at The Port Grocery, said: “Thank you so much to our local Specsavers stores for their kind donation of over 100 Easter eggs for our members.
“Specsavers has always been a tremendous supporter of The Port Grocery, so we were delighted that they wanted to make sure that at least some of the local children get a treat this weekend.”
Robert Byrne, store partner of four Specsavers stores, said: ‘It’s so humbling to work with such a selfless group of colleagues.
“We’re very proud that we have been able to find ways to continue supporting those in need of aid in the local community.”
