A SEVEN-year-old from Heswall has smashed her personal target by running and walking 30 miles to help raise money for charity.
Kiera Jones set herself the target of running and walking 10 miles in the hopes of raising £100 for family support charity, Home Start, after being inspired by a celebrity edition of the television game show Tipping Point last weekend.
She has since covered 30 miles by running and walking on local footpaths across Wirral and has raised £400 surpassing her £100 target in just five days.
Kiera's dad, Leigh Jones, said: "Whilst it was half term she thought it would be a great chance for her to do it.
"Then on Saturday night she had decided to raise money for Home Start, who help vulnerable families and children, and set herself the challenge of running and walking 10 miles."
Keira was joined by mum, Laura, younger sister, Isla, and the family dog, Bella, who all helped her to break her 10 mile goal.
Leigh said: "Myself and her mum are unbelievably proud of Keira for seven years old.
"She is so kind and loving and has a heart of gold."
