A WIRRAL post office is to reopen next week after the coronavirus pandemic forced its temporary closure.

The branch at 260 Grove Road, Wallasey Village will open on Tuesday, under new management, to restore vital services to the community.

It had closed in March last year as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. A new Postmaster has now been appointed.

Opening hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9am–5.30pm and Saturday from 9am–12.30pm.

A wide range of products and services will be available.

Sarah Cottrell, Post Office network provision manager, said: "We are delighted to be restoring Post Office service to the Wallasey area as we know how important Post Office services are to a community."
