A WIRRAL company that has used digital tools and technology to transform businesses will share it inspiring stories at a free-to-access online summit.

Parity Medical will take part in Made Smarter: The journey to digital manufacturing, on Wednesday, March 10, will show manufacturers how to leverage and fast-track digital technology and tools for a year of recovery, growth and resilience.

The manufacturer of medical technology will discuss its journey to introduce a virtual showroom which will reduce travel time, costs, and carbon emissions by 11%.

The company designs mobile wireless computer carts and specialist clinical computing devices for the NHS and private healthcare sector.

It has invested in software which will enable sales staff and customers to meet in an online virtual showroom.

It believes the equipment could reduce travel by 30,000 miles, cut carbon emissions by 11 tonnes per year and speed up the initial sales demonstration process from two days to an hour.

It is one of three small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) sharing real-life stories of their experience of Made Smarter’s North West Adoption programme.

Also appearing will be Beverston Engineering, a Knowsley manufacturer of components for safety critical industries such as aerospace, pharmaceutical, and oil and gas; and Brainboxes, a manufacturer of industrial electronics and communications devices based in Liverpool, will talk about its own digital transformation.
