A MAN has been charged with drugs offences after police searched a property in Bidston yesterday.
At around 7am, officers attended an address in School Lane, where they arrested a man in connection with national Operation Venetic, and recovered around £10,000 in cash and a cash counting machine.
Steven Strachan, 49, of School Lane, Bidston, was charged with conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs and possession of criminal property.
He appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court this morning.
He has been remanded in custody to next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, March 17.
