A CHESTER FC supporters meeting had to be cut short last night (February 11) – because 'invaders' hijacked the video call with pornographic footage.

City Fans United members were left stunned as the X-rated material brought the Zoom meeting to an abrupt end before joint manager Anthony Johnson could respond to a Q&A session.

The offensive video appeared on the screen under the invaders' attendee name, Lynn Davis, and left Blues boss Johnson struggling to contain his laughter.

He tweeted afterwards: "Let me tell you something, the Handforth parish zoom meeting has absolutely nothing and I mean NOTHING on what I’ve just witnessed on the Chester FC zoom. Unbelievable."

City Fans United also posted on Twitter after the meeting had ended: "Okay, so just to let you know we've ended the meeting earlier than expected, and we'll bring the Q&A with Jonno to you at a later date on a different platform!

"Thanks to those that attended for their patience and understanding whilst we tried to sort out the 'invaders'."

The group added: "Well that was interesting... not your average CFU informal meeting!"

The Chester FC official club account joked: "Yes, unfortunately tonight’s @CityFansUnited zoom meeting has been cut short due to – ahem – outside interference.

"Read the standing orders and put them away, Lynn."

A statement has since been released by City Fans United which said: "Due to the offensive material that appeared during our Zoom meeting this evening, we were forced to bring our meeting to a close earlier than anticipated.

"City Fans United would like to apologise to anyone that was offended by the material that suddenly appeared on the meeting, and we removed it as quickly as possible, but unfortunately repeated attempts meant we had no alternative but to close the meeting.

"We were at the point where Anthony Johnson was about to do a Q&A, so we will put a separate article together to provide you with the answers that he was going to give to your questions, in the very near future.

"Again, apologies for the events that were completely out of our hands this evening."
