DRAMATIC pictures show the rescue of an incredibly lucky horse stuck neck deep in mud.
The pictures, shared by RSPCA Wirral on its Facebook page, show Farrah in difficulty on a field in Amlwch, North Wales on Friday.
Members of the animal welfare charity's water rescue team went to her aid.
RSPCA Wirral's Facebook post read: "We managed to pull her safety and after a quick vet check she was pulled to her feet and returned to her worried owner.
"Thankfully she was wearing two rugs which helped to retain some body heat while she was in there otherwise it could of been a very different ending.
"Well done to all involved."
