BREAKFAST treats and lunchtime snacks have been donated to Middlewich High School from a supermarket.
Jack's in Wheelock Street want to support the children of key workers who can still attend school.
The Tesco budget store handed over boxes of snacks and doughnuts to help parents, families and teachers who are working during lockdown.
Darren Preston, store manager of Jack's Middlewich, said: "Since last March, Jack's has continuously given back to the local community as we always try to put our customers at the heart of everything we do.
"It's a tough time for everyone right now but especially parents, so we hope this provides a little relief for families."
Steve Wiseman, assistant headteacher of Middlewich High School, said: "We really appreciate all that Darren and the team at Jack's have done for us.

"They helped with our free school meal food collection for the Christmas break and provided prizes for the end of term celebration. "Since we returned he has provided snacks for morning break for children who are vulnerable and those whose parents are key workers and even provided doughnuts for our staff."
Shoppers received surprise gift vouchers
Shoppers also received a surprise treat as customers were selected at random and given Jack's gift vouchers to cheer them up on what was dubbed Blue Monday.

The the third Monday of the year is dubbed a depressing day many people may feel sad and down.
