A South Wirral care provider has been collecting donations to create Christmas hampers for the vulnerable people they look after.
Apollo Care is treating each of its clients to some festive joy by gifting them with a specially put together hamper in time for Christmas.
Each hamper is topped off with a handmade card from the children at Church Drive Primary School in Port Sunlight and items within the hampers have been quarantined to make sure each present is Covid safe before delivery.

Suzanne Janvier, Director of Apollo Care, said: “Christmas is a time where small gestures can have a big impact on people.
“We all need some cheering up after the year we’ve had and I could see that the lockdown and Covid restrictions were going to have a serious impact at Christmas on those people we look after, who will all be vulnerable to the virus.
“I hope that people like what we’ve done and that they can all have a small piece of Joy at Christmas.”
June, pictured with her hamper, said: "Thank you very much for the hamper and i wish you all a very happy new year and Christmas."
Employees and their children at Apollo Care were also treated to some festive fun with a virtual visit from Santa and Tuppence the Elf for a Christmas quiz and songs.
Suzanna said: “Our employees have worked tirelessly in 2020 and it has been a difficult time for workers in the care sector.
“I’m happy that we have managed to do our bit to make sure that both our employees and those we look after have something positive to remember this Christmas.”
