CHARLES Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol will be brought to life by his great-great grandson in a spellbinding show coming to Wirral later this month.
Gerald Dickens will perform his critically-acclaimed enactment of the festive tale at Thornton Hall Hotel on Saturday, December 19.
This talented actor and gifted storyteller has toured the globe, mesmerising audiences as he brings to life the famous story and its cast of unforgettable characters.

The Covid-safe performance will take place in the building's Torrington Suite.
Gerald will be performing two shows, a matinee at 2pm followed by an evening performance at 7.30pm.
Looking forward to returning to Merseyside, Mr Dickens said: "Traditionally I do a number of shows on Merseyside, the highlight of which is my residency as St George's Hall.
"Obviously, the pandemic has impacted massively on my schedule, so I’m absolutely delighted to be able to perform at Thornton Hall and hopefully see some old friends."
