A special celebratory night has been announced for 2021 graduate apprentices across Wirral and the Liverpool City Region.
The event will celebrate the hard work and determination of apprentices and apprenticeship programmes across the region and will be facilitated by 'Be More', who offer their Apprenticeship Support Programme alongside support from the Strategic Investment Fund and the European Social Fund.
The night promises to be full of surprises, entertainment and atmosphere for local graduates and offers free tickets to apprentices who completed their apprenticeship programme between August 2018 and December 2020.
Mel Dodd, from the Apprenticeship Support Team said: “In a year that has put huge pressures on the job community, their determination has been astounding across a vast sector of industries that utilise and employ apprentices in their everyday work lives.
“They truly deserve an evening to celebrate their incredible achievements, we are delighted to bring that to them in 2021.”
To make the event extra special for apprentices who have dealt with a year of uncertainty and struggle the graduation will be produced and organised by the team who are behind Liverpool festival Sound City.
Rebecca Ayres, Managing Director of Sound city said: “We’re delighted to be involved in the Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Graduation in 2021, celebrating the incredible successes of apprentices and apprenticeships with an event the city region truly deserves.
“The area is synonymous with hard work and determination so it’s only right we celebrate a generation of apprentices with a top-notch moment to look forward to in 2021.
"In a time of struggle and hardship, now more than ever it’s important to raise up those breaking through and sure to make even more of a mark in the years to come - so we’ll see you all there. Trust us, we’re planning on making it a special one!”
