CHESTER Zoo is preparing to reopen its Monsoon Forest building this weekend - nearly two years after it was severely damaged in a fire.
Before the attraction opens to the public, the Chester Standard is being given a tour of the restored building today.
We will bring you photographs and all the reaction from the zoo as it gears up for an emotional reopening tomorrow.
Visitors had to be evacuated when the fire broke out in the Monsoon Forest habitat area back in December 2018.
Fire investigators confirmed the blaze was caused by an electrical fault.
