A BANK located in Warrington town centre has closed after a positive coronavirus case was confirmed.
The Halifax branch on Buttermarket Street will be temporarily closed until Saturday, October 17.
It is not yet known whether it was a member of staff or customer who contracted the virus.
For those customers who feel it is necessary to visit the bank in person, the nearest Halifax branches are located in St Helens and Widnes.
Halifax was approached for a comment regarding what measures have been implemented to prevent Covid-19 from spreading further.
