A DEDICATED blood donor has achieved a remarkable record.

Winsford dad Graham Dodd has donated a whopping 100 pints of blood.

The 73-year-old has been helping to save lives for more than 30 years.

Work colleagues at Weaver Dane on Hartford Business Park, which manufactures kitchens and bathrooms, are full of praise and admiration.

Marketing manager Justine Edwards said: "We are all very proud of him, it is a big achievement. Graham is a bundle of joy and full of life.

"He is always cheerful and goes out of his way to help others."

Justine said: "He is very work proud and always wants the best quality and best finish.

"Graham wanted to give blood during lockdown but was unable to do it. This is the first time he has had a chance to go during the pandemic. He didn't want any fuss but we think this incredible achievement should be celebrated."

Son Paul, who owns the business, said: "I am extremely proud of my dad."
