A HEDGE fire in Ellesmere Port spread to two houses and a vehicle.
The incident in Talbot Road, Great Sutton, was reported to firefighters at 12.30pm on Thursday, August 6.
Three fire engines attended, two from Ellesmere Port and one from Powey Lane.
On arrival, crews discovered that a fire involving a conifer hedge had spread to two properties and a vehicle on a driveway.
No-one was unaccounted for.
The road was closed, a cordon was set up and firefighters extinguished the fire with water. They then damped down the areas affected by the fire.
Firefighters inspected the properties, including the roof spaces, to make sure they were safe.
The fire caused minimal damage to the properties.
The electricity supply to one of them was isolated as a precaution.
The road was reopened at around 1.20pm.
Firefighters were in attendance for more than an hour.
The fire is believed to have been started accidentally via a blow torch.
