POLICE are investigating after an alpaca farm was targeted by vandals.
Several signs were destroyed at Woodlands Alpaca Farm in Thelwall, with the entrance also being damaged.
No animals at the Stockport Road site were harmed during the incident, which occurred at some point between 12am on Monday, July 27, and 8am on Wednesday, July 29.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Officers have launched an investigation following a report of criminal damage at a premises on Stockport Road.
“At some time between 12am on Monday, July 27, and 8am on Wednesday, July 29, unknown offenders are believed to have caused damage to a sign at the premises.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number IML766787.
“Alternatively, information can also be passed on to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
