THERE have been no further deaths from coronavirus recorded at Wirral hospitals for more than three weeks, NHS England has confirmed today.
The total number of people who have passed away in Wirral University Teaching Hospital after testing positive for the virus since the pandemic began remains at its present level, 238.
Nationally, a further nine people who tested positive for the Covid-19 have lost their, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,338.
An NHS England statement read: "Patients were aged between 73 and 92 years old. All had known underlying health conditions apart from one (aged 75).
"Their families have been informed."
