NO further coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Wirral hospitals, NHS England confirmed this afternoon.
It means the total number of patients who have died after testing positive for the virus at Wirral University Teaching Hospital remains at 238.
Nationally, a further 22 people, who tested positive have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,125.
A statement read: "Patients were aged between 54 and 93 years old. All patients had known underlying health conditions.
"Their families have been informed."
