NO new coronavirus-related deaths have been reported by hospitals in the Bradford district today.

According to the latest data released by NHS England, no further deaths have been reported by the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Airedale or the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.

"Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure," NHS England says.

"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."

Nationally, the deaths of a further 36 people, five in Yorkshire and the North East, who tested positive for Covid-19 were announced, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 28,940.

Patients were aged between 53 and 98 years old. Two patients, aged 83 and 85, had no known underlying health conditions.
