Wirral has now gone a week without suffering a single hospital coronavirus death, NHS England has confirmed.
The last Covid-19 fatality at Arrowe Park Hospital occurred on June 17, keeping the overall Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) coronavirus death toll at 235.
Today's Globe chart shows how the daily rate of Covid-19 deaths at WUTH has fluctuated over the past two months before eventually dropping off.
A further 55 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 28,490.
Patients were aged between 49 and 98 years old. One patient, aged 70, had no known underlying health conditions. Their families have been informed.
The North West accounted for 17 of today's recorded fatalities, more than any other region.
