OFFICERS have charged a 32-year-old man with attempted murder following a shooting at McDonalds in Bromborough on Thursday.
David Pugh, 32, of Woolfall Crescent, Huyton was arrested yesterday, June 20, and charged this morning with attempted murder and possession of a firearm.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at court tomorrow.
Det Insp Sabi Kaur, from the firearms investigations team said: “I am extremely grateful to the members of the public who have assisted in this case, those who have provided dashcam footage, statements and other information have been instrumental in this investigation.
“Gun crime will not be tolerated on the streets of Merseyside and we will do everything in our power to remove dangerous weapons from our streets.”
