A HOSPITAL porter got on to her horse for a walk in support of health workers fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
Ann Weston, who works at Clatterbridge Hospital, took four-legged friend Petal along the road in which she lives, Birkett Road as people gathered for the final 'clap for NHS' on Thursday night.
Ann said: "I decided to take my horse petal to where I live in rock ferry to thank everybody for their support and walked her through the last clap which was a very emotional and enjoyable.
"My collegue Joanne Scriven and have kept our posts updated on Facebook. Since the covid-19 pandemic started.
"Colleagues, friends and even strangers commented they love our posts dearly and say it keeps there spirits up."
