A BRISTOL man has admitted assaulting a man in Poole in the middle of the coronavirus lockdown.
Lee Jonathan Minall, aged 52 and of Bristol, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 27.
He admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Heathfield Avenue, Poole, on April 4 – when the government's coronavirus guidelines urged everyone to stay at home other than to travel to work, to buy essential food or medical supplies.
The defendant was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £34 surcharge.
