DETECTIVES are appealing for information from the public after two men were arrested following a street altercation in Ellesmere Port.
The incident happened in Parklands, Little Sutton, at around 3pm on Tuesday, May 26.
Two men – aged 30 and 40 – were arrested on suspicion of public order offences.
The pair, who are both from Ellesmere Port, have since been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
No one was injured as a result of the altercation.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the altercation or was driving in Parklands at the time and believes they have dashcam footage that may help the investigation.
Detective Constable Jake Connolly, of Ellesmere Port CID, said: "We are determined to establish exactly what happened and then progress our investigation accordingly.
"Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with information or footage that may aid our investigation to come forward.
