Police have charged a 44 year-old man with assault, criminal damage and racially aggravated public order following an incident in Wirral.
Officers were called to a house in Clover Drive in Birkenhead, at 12.05am on Tuesday, May 26, to reports of a disturbance. A man was detained at the scene.
Robert Bowe, 44, of Clover Drive, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker x 4, criminal damage and racially aggravated public order.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Wirral magistrates court today, Wednesday, May 27.
