A ambitious man will take endurance running to the next level on Bank Holiday Monday, as he attemps to run 100 miles in 24 hours.

Charity worker Max Bojarski is running for the Globe-backed WUTH Covid-19 Support Appeal, which is raising money to support the wellfare of patients and staff at Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospitals in the fight against coronavirus.

Max says he will run 100 miles around Victoria Park in Rock Ferry in less than 24 hours. The attempt is part of the One Community virtual running event, to taking place over last week in May.

The rules of the event state that participants have from May 25-31 to complete the distance, but Max plans to do it all in one day.

He told the Globe: "I have previously been running races from 5km up to 24-hour races of non stop running. I'll follow social distancing rules at all times. Thank you for your help!"

The WUTH Covid-19 Support appeal is a Globe-backed campaign in conjunction with Wirral University Teaching Hospital.
