A futher two people have died with coronavirus in Wirral University Teaching hospital (WUTH), taking the total number of Covid-19 deaths in the trust to 200.
Both deaths occurred on May 18, doubling the death toll on Monday to four.
A further 166 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 25,079.
Patients were aged between 33 and 99 years old. Five of the 166 patients (aged between 54 and 70) had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
Today's Globe chart shows when each of the 200 WUTH deaths have occurred.
Although clearly now past the peak of the virus, Monday's spike is evidence that Covid-19 is still far from eradicated in the borough.
