One further coronavirus death in Wirral hospitals has been reported by NHS England today.
The death occurred on May 5, taking the total number of fatalities in NHS hospitals on the borough to 178.
A further 383 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 22,432.
Patients were aged between 28 and 100 years old. 41 of the 383 patients (aged between 28 and 96 years old) had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
Despite the number of recorded deaths today, the Globe's chart above shows that the number of deaths occurring each day continues to fall.
The figures has now dropped gradually for 13 consecutive days.
