KIND-Hearted neighbours in Tranmere have filled 100 goodie bags full of items that will be donated to Arrowe Park Hospital staff to say 'thank you' for their amazing work during the coronavirus pandemic.
Samantha Evanson wanted to do something in appreciation of the work done of health workers to help halt the virus' spread and the contacted her neighbours in Mallory Park, Tranmere via Whatsapp about the idea to put goodie bags together.
It sparked a fantastic response.
Praising her neighbours' fantastic efforts, Samantha told the Globe this morning: "The aim of the bags is to say thank you for all their hard work during this challenging time and to hopefully put a little smile on their faces and lift them up a bit."
"All my neighbours have come together and donated so much stuff that we have now managed to put together 100 goodie bags."
The bags contain a range of items including tea bags, water, biscuits, sweets, pens, chocolate, shower gels and hand creams.
There are also face masks and 'thank you' pictures which have been drawn by the local children.
Samantha is due to drop off the bags at Arrowe Park Hospital on Friday afternoon.
A neighbour has also baked thank you cup cakes.
