THREE more people have died in Wirral after testing positive for Coronavirus - taking the number of Wirral fatalities to 14.
The news was confirmed this afternoon by NHS England, who added that the latest registered deaths from the virus at Wirral University Teaching Hospital Trust - which covers Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge - occurred on March 29, 30 and 31.
So far, the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England has risen to 2,352.
An NHS England spokesman said: "A further 486 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 2,352.
"Patients were aged between 13 and 99 years old. Twenty of the 486 patients (aged between 13 and 93 years old) had no known underlying health condition."
