Police are appealing for information after a vehicle failed to stop after hitting a pedestrian in Bebington on Friday afternoon, resulting in serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to Kings Lane at 12:45 on February 21, to reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a female pedestrian in her 70s. She has been taken to hospital for assessment.
It is initially believed that the vehicle made off, and enquiries are ongoing to establish full details and speak to the driver.
Old Chester Road is closed towards Kings Lane and Police ask that people avoid the area.
North West Ambulance Service confirmed that they dispatched a rapid response vehicle, ambulance, air ambulance and an advanced paramedic.
