A Wirral Youth club is celebrating after recently holding it’s 100th drop-in session.

Life Youth Hub in Bebington opened on February 6 last year and has had over 3,450 visits from 380 young people to date.

Located opposite Bebington train station, the modern facility is for 11-17-year-olds and exists to provide support & opportunities to local young people in order to positively transform their lives and help them find their place, passion, and purpose in life.

Luke Andrews, Director Of Life Youth Hub said: “We wouldn’t be able to provide this well-used community service for young people if it wasn’t for the support of our staff team, volunteers and funders such as Steve Morgan Foundation.

“We are just at the start of a long-term journey of supporting local young people and we hope that with the support of the wider Wirral community we continue for years to come.”

The building at Life Church is ideal as a youth facility with young people having access to fantastic facilities at no cost. The project is made possible by the time and energy of staff & volunteers from Life Church along with funding provided by The Steve Morgan Foundation, The National Lottery & others.

Lauren, aged 12 who regularly attends the Hub commented: “The Hub is somewhere I can come and have fun with my friends and somewhere where I have people to talk too. The team helps me through the hard times in my life. I love coming to the Hub!”

The opening hours are currently 3.15pm-5.30pm Wednesday to Friday and Luke and the team have plans to extend them with further funding.
