Bromborough Mothercare will close it doors for good today, with its shelves practically stripped bare.

The UK retail giant announced on November 9, 2019 that it had fallen into administration and that its nationwide stores would all be closed, with all stock discounted.

Wirral parents have capitalised as a result, swooping for bargains that include children's leggings for as little as 75p a pair.

Mothercare has been the UK's number one retailer for prams, pushchairs, car seats, baby clothes, maternity clothes, nursery furniture, toys and gifts and has been a staple on the high street since 1961.

The company website is now closed.
