THREE teenagers have been arrested in connection with a vile vandalism attack at Christleton Cricket Club.
The club's clubhouse on Little Heath was broken into overnight on Sunday, December 29.
Offenders caused significant damage, including destroying lifesaving defibrillator equipment.
They also set off fire extinguishers and scrawled offensive messages, including racial slurs.
Now police have confirmed two 14-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy, all said to be local to the area, were arrested on January 3 and 4 in connection with the incident.
All three boys have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
A crowdfunding campaign was launched following the incident to purchase a new defibrillator and keep the club going. It has now raised nearly £3,000..
