PORT cadets hosted their annual Christmas Carol and Enrolment Service at the Elim Pentecostal Church for Renewal.

Officiated by the Church Pastor and Squadron Padre, Reverend Peter Israel Peters, the service was open to all local people and especially for the cadets and staff of 1074 (Ellesmere Port) Squadron and their families.

Guests of the squadron and the church being welcomed to the service by Reverend Peters and Squadron Training Officer, Flying Officer Mark Armitage RAFAC and thanked for coming to show their support for the event.

Port Cadets help Christmas shoppers bag their bags

On the night, the congregation enjoyed the enrolment of twelve new cadets, readings by Cadet Flight Sergeant Theodore Philip-Holloway, Cadet Sergeant Caitlin and Cadet Shaun Walker, and Christmas Carols and music courtesy of the Church parishioners as well as the cadets themselves.

Overall the evening was a great success not only for 1074 (Ellesmere Port) Squadron but also the local people who joined them for the evening as the Squadron further improved their ties to their local community.
