A BUSINESS owner spoke of her delight after winning a photography package in a competition.

Mold Town Council - in partnership with local business CameraYard - ran the competition as part of Small Business Saturday (which takes place on December 7).

CameraYard offered the opportunity for a Mold firm to win a free photo shoot worth £99, in order to provide them with professional new photos they can use on their online social media or marketing promotions.

The winner - Simmi Womenswear - was chosen at random by Mold mayor Cllr Tim Maunders during the town's Christmas Market the previous weekend.

Three runner up prizes were also drawn for Sugarfayre, Vaughan Davies and PRS Telecom - all of which will be awarded a 50 per cent off voucher with CameraYard.

Joanna Douglass, business and regeneration officer for Mold Town Council, told the Leader: "The competition was open to all small businesses in Mold and I would like to thank all those who entered - we had a great response."

Simone Ellis, of Simmi, said: "I was really pleased when I found out - It's great timing because the shop is about to have a makeover in the New Year."
