A CCTV appeal has been launched after two people were punched in the head in Birkenhead.
Emergency services were called at around 10pm on Saturday, September 21 following reports that two people were punched in the head outside Mr Whites Bar on Argyle Street.
One victim suffered a broken jaw and tooth and has had to undergo surgery.
The other received minor injuries to his head.
A 37-year-old man from Poulton and a 44-year-old man from Rock Ferry have attended a voluntary interview and enquiries are ongoing.
Officers now want to identify the man in the CCTV images as they believe he may be able to help with their investigation.
Detective constable Lyndsey Shone said: "Assault in any form is completely unacceptable.
"We are calling on the public to help us identify those pictured who may be able to assist us further.
"If anyone was near the location or passing by and saw anything suspicious please get in touch."
