Rush-hour crash caused disruption on M53
TRAFFIC was brought to a standstill on the M53 near Ellesmere Port after a collision earlier this morning.
It took place on the southbound carriageway, just before junction five for Hooton.
Traffic stretched back from the incident to junction four for the A5137 towards Clatterbridge.
There is no indication as to when the congestion will clear and no reports of any injuries.
