A SPECIAL Christmas performance of The Snowman will head to Chester Cathedral later this month.
Cathedral choristers and Carrot Productions will bring their much-loved big-screen presentation of The Snowman accompanied by a live orchestra on Friday, December 20 and Saturday, December 21.
On Friday there will be two performances at 3pm and 7.30pm with four screenings throughout Saturday.
All the performances will feature cathedral choristers, chosen to sing the haunting Walking in the Air song from The Snowman that lies at the heart of the evening.
10-year-old Seth Johnson and 11-year-old Henry Kitchen will cover the six performances between them.
The programme this year also includes an animated version of The Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky.
