THE Light Up A Life switch-on for Wirral Hospice St John’s takes place this weekend.

Ten thousand lights will be switched on in memory of loved ones during what promises to be an emotional Globe-backed ceremony in the hospice gardens on Sunday, which is due to start at 5.30pm.

THE Sing Me Merseyside Choir, directed by Billy Hui, will feature in a Christmas concert at St Thomas' church in Seaview Road, Liscard this Friday (December 6) at 7.30pm.

AN Artisan community market Christmas fair will be held a week on Saturday (December 14) at St Andrew's Church Hall in Graham Road, West Kirby from 10-3pm.
