A FESTIVE arts and crafts workshop will be held at the Pyramids Shopping Centre this weekend.

Children and their families will be able to get into the Christmas spirit at Pyramids on Saturday, December 7.

From 11am until 3pm, there will be opportunities to get gluing, sticking, colouring while making a snowman and other decorative items to take home.

Youngsters will also be able to write those all-important letters to Santa and post it in the shopping centre's talking letterbox.

All activities will be free of charge and take place by the food court outside Boots Opticians.

Allan Beaumont, operations manager at Pyramids Shopping Centre, said: “It’s our favourite time of the year here at Pyramids and we are looking forward to welcoming the community for a day of festive fun with us.

“I’m sure our youngest visitors are already very excited for 25 December and making a Christmas snowman will certainly add to that.

"There will be lots of laughs to be had with our talking letterbox too, so it’s set to be another great day out for all at Pyramids.”
