POLICE investigating a firearm being discharged in Ellesmere Port have arrested two men in connection with the incident.
Both men, aged 26, have been arrested at separate addresses, one in the Merseyside area and the other in Cheshire for firearms offences and are now in custody. Searches are ongoing at several locations.
At 2.25pm on Saturday, November 30 a man was shot in the leg on Enfield Road and taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
